I'd like to see more European cars in the game rather than focussing on Japanese and American cars.

I'd also like to see more European/UK race tracks, and in general, having mostly authentic race tracks in the game, rather than "made-up" ones.

I want to race against my own pimped and tuned cars, now we can only choose from the standard cars when we race in system-link races, is it possible to choose from your own garage box when we assign cars for the AI.

 

I REALLY WANT THIS TO HAPPEN, PLEASE INCLUDE THIS.

Would definately like this.  It would keep the single player campaign fresh.  I could tune the field I run against.  This would also give me an idea as a tuner how a car is going to compete online against other tuned cars, plus sometimes I want to have some good competitive racing but that's really hard to find often online.  Usually have a bunch of [mod edit - FS] racers that can't get around a track without banging into everybody.  Good racers that aren't way faster or way slower then you is hard to find.

How about this for the next game: the entire career "menu"(hub world) in 1st person?  Your garage would be a warehouse capable of holding your top 100 cars, with the workbay(for installing parts)and paintbooth(paint+vinyls) at one end, and the wind tunnel/dyno(vehicle settings and benchmark testing) along the adjacent wall(each station features a computer terminal for accessing the parts menu, paint+vinyl editor and vehicle settings menus[with a brief, skippable cutscene showing the car and avatar getting into position]).  At the opposite corner of the warehouse is a spiral staircase that takes you to your office/apartment, which will feature two areas: office/living room/kitchen(access the office terminal for gameplay/difficulty settings, to choose/arrange your top 100 cars and to buy cars "online"[each manufacturer will have one of the game's tracks as a "home" track for test drives; new cars will appear at the garage door if not assigned a top 100 stall]; access the living room stereo to adjust audio settings and choose/arrange playlists), and bedroom/bath(edit your avatar[options would be similar to Test Drive: Unlimited, except for the addition of weight and body type options and clothing options limited to race suits and helmets]).  How's the car gonna get to those workstations, you ask?  Simple: you walk up to one, lower the stall's guardrail-like gate, get in and drive.  Guardrail-like gate?  Yup; in front of your trophy wall(opposite the wind tunnel/dyno) is a start/finish line, and when you pull up to the marker(similar to the ones at the workstations), you're given the option to run a lap(with one-on-one races occuring in local multiplayer only[you'll be racing through player1's garage/warehouse]).  But what happens if you get out of the car you're currently driving and get in another?  Don't worry, your previous ride won't remain as an obstruction; your crew chief will appear to return it to it's stall.  And what if the car you want to work on or race isn't in your top 100?  Just pull up your cell phone, scroll through the rest of your rides, select the one you want, and a text message will be sent to your crew chief, who will retrieve your car from another warehouse, and will be pulling through the garage door momentarily(it's in the wall opposite the workbay and paintbooth).  When you're ready to hit the track(s), pull up to the garage door marker and you'll be given three options: test run(then choose a track[realtime tuning will be done here]), time trial(then choose a track) and race(which in turn presents you with two choices: eligible races[races you can run with your current car; just choose a race], and ineligible races[choose a race, and you'll either choose an eligible car from your collection, or see what kind of car is required to enter]).  If at you are currently not engaged in anything in this hub, and no longer wish to bother with it, you can press start and choose to navigate through a more traditional menu system.

Anyone care to comment on my idea?

we need a new car pack (nissan GTR please) and 1/4 mile drag strip ASAP.OTHER THAN THAT THE GAME IS PERFECT!!!!!!!!

I want to try and make a Small car outrun a big one! thats way more fun then having a fast car from the start! also where is the abiloity to rip out front axles?I want to strip a GTR or Subau down to make it like a race or drift car!

And a few kei cars(cappuchino,beat,AZ-1) and 1st gen MX5(Not mazdaspeed its cool but I want standard!)

Gran Turismo 4 was the BIGGEST crock of [mod edit - FS] ever!  They said they had improved physics, but that just meant Increased braking distances and unreal amounts of understeer for FWDs with more than 150hp; while the cars themselves STILL bounced off each other and the walls unrealistically(we get it, you won't show vehicle damage; ya could've worked in realistic collision reactions and the ability to spin-out your opponents[as opposed to them just spinning us out] in the meantime).  And to top it off, they wouldn't even let us race with the most interesting models like the 19th century rides, the Nike car, the Jay Leno tank car or the Plymouth/Chrysler Prowler.  Total [mod edit - FS]!

Those cars are better suited for GT. If you want a classy looking race car, I'll offer you two: One being the Wiesmann GT/ GT MF5 and the other being the Morgan Aero 8 GT

Actually, I don't think outlandish cars like that should have a place in any serious racing game; the point I was trying to make was this: what good is a racing game when it won't let you race ALL the cars?

Just had a fantastic idea.  If it's been said before sorry.  But I was thinking (ouch). People spend countless hours painting their cars and selling them but when you race online you rarely if ever get to see anybody's work.  Maybe a glance at the start, maybe a close up of the rear bumper, or a side view when they blow by you.  I think forza3 should implement something that shows you the top three finishers cars when a race is done.  They could show you the cars at the end of the race (most have a 1 to 2 minute complition timer) while you are sitting there checking the winners at fastest times.  I''ve ran a lot of races but I've never once had somebody say, hey cool design, and trust me, I've bought some of the best paints in the game.  How cool would it be to see a nice photo of the three finishers crossing the line and be able to admire their work, and go holy [mod edit - FS], that is a nice car!

And one other idea.  How about a little in game card, you know like those crazy online birthday cards people send, that you could send in game to somebody you just beat with a sweet picture of you passing them or something.  I bet the 360 could handle that, the replay is being saved anyways. Just have the 360 buzz through the replay of the winning car and capture a pic of when the winning car passed a particular car.  That would be sweet.

And on a final note, what about like the nascar 09 riverly system.  How about the game notifies you when someone on your friends list has posted a faster time at a track then you.  With of course a little photo of their car crossing the finish line and their lap time that just scorched your best efforts.

Anyways turn 10, hope you consider these options.  Not like I'm suggesting you allow me to purchase a c130 gunship to rain a world of hurt on the car in first place during a race, not that anybody has suggested that... ;)

i think it would be better if anybuddy passed u it would send u a message... but the little replay thing is alittle overboard

If that's too hard to implement(having the computer pick out the best shot of each competitor), then how about the pic shown being one that the drivers of the cars take(because I'm sure that ANYONE whose dabled in the vinyl editor has taken at least one glamour shot of their pride and joy)?
