With all do respect, how is that ricer?

I agree that it's a very, very ugly vehicle, but certainly not a ricer.

correct. It's a corn burner. Epic fail at making it look like a 50's car.

no I like to think any one who is just taking the piss wont actully spend money on a car and then drive it around. IMO its a wreck some one got cheap and just does not care about it.

Never put a whale tail on a porsche!

Just so that everyone knows, that tails is 100% functional. It's fully adjustable, and can can produce up to ~175 Lbs of downforce at 40 MPH, and also helps redirect air to cool the intercooler better. It may look like rice to the untrained eye, but even Porsche put similar wings on their cars as OEM. Case in point: 993 911 GT2. Or the 3.8 RS America. Don't assume that just cause it's big it's rice.

Want to rice a Porsche? Go to Gemballa. Those are probably 20" rims and the bodywork is just hideous. And that spoiler.... gross Indifferent

in no way, shape, or form is that rice.

Agreed, plus again, spoiler is functional >_>

and the idiot behind it all

    2005 Scion Xb Rear Fins

Admiteddly this would look better covered in horse manure, but its actually a form a japanese tuning that i can never remember the name of, its inspired by the old 50's japanese biker gangs that used to strap rigid body panels and huge exhaust pipes on their bikes. On the right car in the righ colours, it looks freakin awesome, on this however, it looks terrible.

Just realised i missed out on 10 pages, idc if someones mentioned it before Stick out tongue its called Bosozoku http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C5%8Ds%C5%8Dzoku

    RRoblkv:
^^ i don't see how adding a REAR wing onto a FWD car is supposed to help it perform better, especially on daily drivers which are never going to be converted to full race cars. And with that, the kind of downforce they can potentially get from those cheap wings is barely anything at all to actually help the cars performance. if they are doing it for performance then they just don't know what the heck their doing, plain and simple. they all do it for asthetics, to make their cars look better, and if they think it really helps them with perfomance, then they are rice.

i am not talking about the dekotora vans by the way. just your everyday ricer.

extra downforce on FWD cars will help keep the rear wheels from sliding out.  No effect on acceleration though...maybe even decrease acceleration a little due to the increased drag from the wing =/
