I can't post the replay so I'm posting pics instead.. These cover roughly 15 seconds from a race I had online the other night S-Class at Road Atlanta... Im in the Orange Gallardo..
1st place Jag XJ220 crests the hill as 2nd Place Ferrari and my 3rd Place Gallardo exit the chicane...
Roughly 5 seconds later as the Ferrari comes down the hill at about 120mph we see the Jag a second away from hitting an abandond car on the apex of the last turn...
A second later and the Jag hits the abandond car, the Ferrari driver hasn't seen it though and is still going at race speed.. (no brake lights!)
A split second later and we're much closer, the Jag has speard off into the wall as the Ferrari brakes hard to try an avoid them...
Another splt aecond later and still on the brakes but still going around 70moh the Ferrari goes across the kerb and just misses both cars by about a meter either side.. Also in this shot you can see 3rd place through the dust and a black Audi coming down the hill in 4th...
At almost the same time from 3rd Place, we see the Ferrari dissapear into the dust and smoke.. Its hard to get across how fast this all happened but we are only 1 second after the Jag hit the Red Ferrari and in this shot im going around 130mph..
Another Split second and you can see the brake disks glowing as the white Ferrari skids across the track.. its driver amazed at making it through unscathed!! 3rd place can just be seen beind the red Ferrari...
So...it doesn't look good for the wide Gallardo.. I was in panic mode really which is why im still going 125mph here because i've still not braked... you can also just make out the Jags reversing lights have come on!!!
You couldn't fit a packet of rizla in that gap!!!
Barely making it through at 125mph, in the dust you may be able to see that the Ferrari is now much closer and also the Jag is closer to the curb having started to reverse...
Now from the 4th place Audi we see the Gallardo pass into the cloud of dust and smoke.. were are still only about 2.5 seconds after the Jag hit the Ferrari..
Half a second later as the Audi approaches the Jag has reversed onto the track.. You can also just see in the distance the Gallardo now alongside the white Ferrari..
With nowhere to go the Audi hits the Ferrari..
The Audi's front bumper flys off and the Ferrari is sent spinning round by the force of the impact..
The Audi heads for the tire barrier... I've left this one full size too so you can see how far the 2 other cars have gone in the same amount of time...
This is about 6 seconds after the jag hit the Ferrari from the now 1st place Gallardo.. I've left this one full size so you can see the Audi in the distance hitting the tire barrier..
And finally just 9 seconds after the Jag hit the Ferrari , its all over for the Audi...
Hope the pics got across in someway just how fast this all happend and how amazed me and my mate in the white Ferrari were that we'd missed both cars and got through that gap!
You can't win the race in the first corner... but you sure can lose it!
