@ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.

Come on this game has a problem, it wasnt there in the beginning but its there now. PLEASE fix this or at least say you are working on it.

I and a lot of other people are fed up with freezing/rebooting etc etc.

Just today mine has froze at least 12 times and im not kidding, and its not my xbox as ive tested it with other games and have zero problems.

The last patch caused this IMO............

Mod Edit:  Here are some steps to take that might help you solve your freezing problems.

    1- Delete un-used Cars
If you have a very large car collection it is possible to reduce the probability of this problem occurring by limiting the number of cars in your garage.

    2- Use the car list
When you are in your garage there is a feature that allows you to search for a car in a list, essentially avoiding the problem of loading multiple cars with various upgrades and liveries.  By pressing “X” you can sort and select cars based on a wide variety of criteria.

3- Save designs to the design catalog
In order to reduce the number of duplicate cars in your garage, try saving some of your favorite liveries into the design catalog.  This will reduce the number of duplicate cars that you have in your garage.  When you are ready to drive with a different livery, simply load another design from the catalog.  Once you have saved the design you can delete the duplicate car from your garage.

4- Search for troublesome cars and remove them
It is very possible that certain cars within your garage can be the cause of freezing issues.  If you find yourself consistently freezing when trying to select a specific car then try removing it from your garage.  Sometimes a specific car can become corrupted without affecting the rest of the profile.  The best way to determine if a car has become corrupted is to check and see if you always freeze when trying to select that particular car.  If so then remove the car and try again.

Mine does the same thing. The disc is NOT scratched or dirty at all and it's not the 360. Now once in a while the screen will go black after selecting a car from the garage. Right now, I've got 205 cars and I'm stuck at Level 45. I'm not playing this game again until it's fixed.

Turn 10 are not going to fix the freezing issue, You might as well try and get a refund or sell the game.

Ive have not had my xbox freeze once since i stopped playing forza, so much for "its your xbox" theory that so many people had.

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.

Just for the record, here's my story...

Bought the LCE brand new sealed, played the game for 3 weeks solidly.Trying to whiz through career mode as fast as possible, did that and so proceeded onto complete arcade mode.So far so good 3 weeks of solid gameplay and 100% complete, with exception to the 1 million online achievement.Times it crashed whilst i was completing the game, was in total... only once! and not in my garage!

Then on a monday morning i wake up to find forza has an auto update,i let it install and proceed to go play some forza.I entered my garage and BAM!...the game locked up whilst scrolling through cars.Argh man! its probably nothing,so i'll just reboot the console and try again.Nope BAM! locks up again also whilst scrolling my garage,it has continued to do so ever since that monday morning i ran the update.

So lets do some checks, look at the game disc and its still mint..i couldn't find a scratch, smudge or finger mark of any kind.Best check my console by playing some other games,so try my other games on and off for the next couple of days.Ain't that! they all play fine without crashing...no problems there.

So to sum up,i could complete the whole game without any major issue's.Then after applying the last update,it's scrolling through garage crashing all the time.End of my little Story and Game Over!

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.

Has any of you noticed scratches on the top of the inner ring of the disc? This happened on both mine and my friends game, even though they were used on two seperate consoles. I have a feeling that this wear, is what will cause cracks or scratches in the end.
I have 6 other games, which has been played alot more than forza, and neither one of these has these scratches. I think it is caused by disc slipping during spinup/spindown.

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.

On the day of the last update i had been playing all day with 6 friends, no one froze.

That night after we had updated there was at least a dozen incidents of someone freezing.

Can't see any scratches on the top inner circle (probably caused by the game box clip) of my disc,to be honest i don't think they will cause your disc to crack.Unless of course they are deep or you take the game in and out if its box without due care or attention. So i wouldn't worry about them if i were you.

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.

Its not the discs, its not the xbox360s its the game. Seems like some kind of memory leak freezing it up or something.

Sometimes i can scroll through fine with no probs, then bang, freeze. The game doesnt crash on anything else other than the garage/scrollingt through cars.

My brother has a brand new spanking 360 and forza and his does exactly the same thing.

I cant believe there hasnt been any sort of response from the devs. This is a well known issue with the game.
