For cars that are "against policy"?

Is there somewhere we go to report a car that has a Nazi symbol or other vulgar material on it in some way shape or form?

the swastika symbol is not a bad symbol

it is the stigma of the symbol used by the ***, it acutally has a quite different meaning, Gooooogle it.

Yes, but in context, most of the swastikas I've seen are the ones pertaining to ***.

you are seriousy going to turn people in for having these cars..come on get a life.....let people design what they want...if you don't like it don't buy, make, or look at it.....in this country you do not have the right not to be offended.....(can you understand that or do i need to explain?)

Re: For cars that are "against policy"?

The Swastika is actually a cristian sybbol, its a stylised cross. That being said I can see where your coming from, I dont think its on any cars caus its a Cristian symbol, methinks theres a more sinister reason. I dont know about reporting it, maybe just give the person a bed rep submission. After all the Livery editor is sopposed to give you the freedom to design and do what you want.

I mean you can't start making exceptions really, for example someone could then come on saying that the movie 300 is rated 18s therefore pictures of it shouldnt be posted where kids could see it. Now thats a very extreme (and frankly stupid rationalisation) but nowadays people will complain about anything.

In closing I dont think a person should be reported or banned for it, I THINK ITS UP TO PEOPLE TO HAVE THE DECENCY not to use this symbol in this particular context.

    Thats just my view.

Re: For cars that are "against policy"?

Owning the car is one thing, but putting the car up for auction in the Auction House allows everybody, young and old, to see the inappropriate material.

If you read the Forza Pitpass, there will be a report form coming out soon.

Re: For cars that are "against policy"?

apprantley it was originally from dharmic religions, ie hinduism, buddism etc and the word comes from sanskrit meaning well-being.

Re: For cars that are "against policy"?

Where the symbol came from means nothing the Nazi's used it the Neo Nazi's and Skinheads still use it regardless what it meant 100 yrs ago the Nazi's have taken this symbol and made it there own
now it represents something that is disgusting and wrong anyone and I mean anyone seen with this on there car or in the auction house should be reported.Just the fact that most of you researched what it was before the Nazi's took it says to me no one really knows what the symbol meant in the past and I am pretty sure anyone with this symbol on there cars have Evil  intentions.

Remember if you see it report it. It is what is right.

Re: For cars that are "against policy"?

I would love to meet all of those, well adjusted, intelligent people using the swastika as a means of expression of Christian or Buddhist beliefs in the online community.

    Get real guys.

If someone flys the swastika... they're running with a screw loose. There's no other reason to run a swastika in 2007 (ie. post 1939-1945 conflict) than to cause offence. The people doing this, are usually racist, biggoted and most worryingly ignorant.

Ignorance has many forms, and the idea that "freedom of speech" is an excuse is plainly moronic. Freedom of Speech is a responsibility, not a right. These people should be reported, banned and if I had my way their serial number would be traced and their ISP informed. Hell, I'd go the whole hog and have them fined as well.

To date I've currently filed 3 official complaints over xboxlive and whilst I doubt any good will come of it, at least I have used my voice.

No, you dribbling idiot; they do not. I don't even understand how people can call this into question, racism should not be tollerated in any shape or form.

Re: For cars that are "against policy"?

i usually never get into these things, but honestly, i do not think someone should be punished for just a swastika, i believe people should be punished for the other things like the naked people and other "objects." I see no point because, look at all the books and everything also about the Nazi swastika, i learned about all this in like 7th grade, educated people should know that this is a thing of the past, i do not see why people should be mad that this is on a car, yet not care that these are in educational books and such? come on, im only 15 and understand this, i learned about all this in 7th grade or so, so worrying about "what younger kids may see" isn't really an important matter since schools (at least in my state) teach this at also a young age, maybe some parents should know what schools also teach, now if there were to be something also on the car that was offensive (someone dying, or body parts or something like that) i would understand, but here people are getting angry at just a swastika. that's my point of view.

Re: For cars that are "against policy"?

I agree with the above poster.  I hate cars with stupid designs of any kind offensive or not.  It makes it hard to find a decently priced stock car on the auction house because of the damn ricers and people who want to make money off painting instead of racing.   Now a swastika, IMO isn't offensive unless the person driving this car is actually saying heil hitler i hate jews i hate this i hate that.  But i mean WWII is over.  Its done, we destroyed that son of a *** because america always prevails, you can't change HISTORY which is what it is, you can only prevent it from happening in the future.  Thats my perspective.  I don't get why people say OH NO THE KIDS WILL SEE IT! the kids who are in the 4th grade already know every single swear word and profane lanugage that could ever be used.  I mean there are so many 8 year olds on these game swearing away. All i know is that when these kids are running this country we are all screwed. The End.
