Hey guys, this is a new Time Attack series I am starting up called Twilight TimeAttack. (corny huh? lol) This is a Japanese Time Attack series that will run for 8 weeks. Races will be on Friday nights (Central time)....once everyone has signed up we will decide a time that is best for everyone on Fridays. Time will try to be US, UK, and Australian friendly. Most likely around 5-7pm CST.
Heres a little more info on the series:
Tracks:
There will be a race every Friday for 8 weeks. Most races will be on Japanese tracks, but a few will be elseware ( I dont want to do Suzuka, Suzuka East, and Suzuka West..that would get boring). So here are the week #'s, and corresponding tracks.

How it will be ran:
I will make a lobby at the discussed time and I will start inviting everyone...once everyone is in the lobby that is online we will start qualifying.
Qualifying- Everyone will do 3 laps on the given track in staggered 10 second intervals. The race timer will be on full so everyone can finish. I will record everyones best lap time, and that will determine your seeding for the actual time attack event. We will then proceed into the actual time attack event which will be 10 laps....THIS GOES FOR ALL TRACKS! Since we will most likely not be in our seeded spots we will line up in our spots and then the first person will take off. The next person will wait 15 seconds before going, and so on, and so on until everyone has gone. Then you obviously try to get the best laptime possible and its basically a hot-lap for 10 laps. Race-time will again be on full and everyones best lap time will be recorded.
Season points:
Whoever has the best qualifying lap (who will be seeded first in the actual time attack) will recieve a 2 point bonus towards their points standings. At the end of the actual even each week, you will be given points according to your best lap-time.....Here is the points system...
First Place- 20 points
Second Place- 16 points
Third Place- 12 points
Fourth Place- 8 points
Fifth Place- 6 points
Sixth Place- 4 points
Seventh Place- 2 points
Eighth Place- 1 point
I will update the standings for the seasons points totals each week both in this thread and on the TGM Racing forums.
Car Restrictions:
You must pick two (2), and ONLY two cars. These will be the only cars that you can use throughout the series. (This way you can have one for long tracks, one for short tracks, etc.) There are only two restrictions for your car:
It must be A class and have a PI of, or below A850!!!
It must be a Japanese (JDM) car that is on the below list.

Buy-in
Buy-in for the competition will be 250k ($250,000) per entrant. With 8 people this will give us a pot of 2 million right off the bat.
Prizes
Pot is now 23 million cr!! (yes 23 million), a TE3, an LE Rx8 from AutoArt, a Gearbox GTO from BravoXXX, a Tuscan TVR from Import69, and a Kartboy STi from Dean the Dub
Thanks to those guys for their donations here is where the prize money will come from:
2 million from buy-ins + 10 million from AutoArt LE + 1 million from Dean the Dub + 10 million from BravoXXX = 23 million credits!
Also the AutoArt Ferrari F430 will go to the winner of the Tsukuba round....thanks Brk!!!

Once I have all the entrants you will have to tell me the two cars you will be using. Also the buy-in car will have a TimeAttack logo on it. You will need to have a number plate for your car with your number, as well as the TimeAttack logo somewhere on the number plate. With this said, your cars design will need to probably unlocked.
