    Forza Motosport 3 Suggestions

    Dear Forza Motosport 2 developers, my name is Robert firstly let me congratulate you on your Forza Motosport 2 game which I must admit had no plans in purchasing, however it was included when I purchased an XBox Elite to replace my old system.

    I even thought of perhaps selling the game, but I gave it a try and another and another.
    I am now close to completing it and I am glad it was included with the Elite system.

    Forza Motosport 2 is technically great and draws the player in keeps you hooked, but it is not perfect (what is?)
    So because I have played it so much I thought I would give you a list of changes for Forza Motorsport 3 which I plan to purchase this time.

    Arcade
    - Please have ALL Tracks from the Career mode selectable, listed vertically with a small video on the   bottom right showing the track to jog your memory or show friends what the track looks like.
     Above you have your usual track graphic as well as distance....  if the inclusion of the video means
     longer loading have it as an option  as video, slide show 5 images or just the one image in the options.

    - Racing direction forward or reverse

    - Number of laps I wish to race

    - AI difficulty

    - Weather??

    Career Mode
    - It should be accessible from both end Tracks or Cars so when I select a Car I wish to be able to  
      view ALL eligible tracks for my current car with a green dot next to the track name, all tracks which I   am  almost eligible for such as 10hp too little or too much have an orange dot next to the track name.
      Obviously a red dot means the current car is far outside the required specs.

    - The Garage, Upgrades, Paint should be accessible from the Track selection screen at the moment 
      there is far too much back and forth.

    - 5 Profiles for each Car so I can quickly load the set up for one race which requires say an S car and   in another race I can use the same car with a quick profile change to an U Car so it remembers all  
      the upgrades applied to each car perhaps only 3 profiles are enough?
      Please include an option to reset all to factory default.

    - Selecting rims is lengthy having to go back and forth constantly is annoying, simply have all wheel 
      listed vertical with a small wheel image and the name of the wheel and cost.
      The company logo could be in the background as you scroll through the logo changes to the different
      makers.

    - More Set up info and videos showing the different handling characteristics with the changes such as
     stiffer stabilizer bars what happens when they are too soft/stiff

    - About the cars I win from races, please allow me to sell it at retail value 100cr is a joke.

    - Earnings from races should be a little higher.

    - All I wish to do is get the better cars and race on some of my favorite tracks such as the Maple   
      Valley.

    - The Decal feature is great but I do not use it, I simply do not have any time to use such a tedious
     method to create anything with even 10 layers let alone 1000 like I have seen.
     Please allow images to be imported from USB for instance Create a Folder called FM3 inside this  folder "Design Name"  inside this folder are the required images what ever format you need  
     Front.bmp, Left.bmp, Right.bmp, Top.bmp, Back.bmp.
     You could have a Photoshop or .bmp template on your site for download, then I would get into it and
     make some designs but at the moment its as easy as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.

    Dear Forza Motosport 2 developers the name tommy. forza 2 is a brillain game n i ejoy playin it all the time. i jus think use could put more cars an performance parts and have drag strips and drift tracks that would make the game even better thnaks 4 listineng

    I totaly agree with xSWx Roberthx. I also think the amount of cr needed to level up in the beginning should also be a little bigger. It's just to easy to get to lvl 5 or what so ever. And could you add a little effect when you smash the tires?? Like peaces of rubber coming loose and a bang?. Otherwise the damage physics is wonderful. And in when the AI difficulty is in Easy could you make the "bots" see you?? It's like the don't see you and just crashes in to you when you are making a turn. Or maybe it's just me thats a bad driver. But as it is now it's realy a great game and I can't whait for Forza 3.

    I have a few IDEAS for FORZA3. I was thinking that if you guys put in a route "editer" or something of the sorte that would allow you to place cones in places to make for a great drift course, and to help people learn how to drift. Mostly for cool courses lol. Another thing Id like to see is, a much wider selection of cars, addons like more bodykits & rims , and add more coustomization to the look of peoples inddevidual cars in body style, lights, depleation of emblems wide body kits and whatever you guys could come up with. I play forza2 to death and I am in need of FORZA3. Thanx for a great game and more to come.

    no impossible engine swaps like in FM2 where you can install a S2000 engine to a civic.Bring back Fujimi kaido and the drag race test track.weather changes would be great!

    anger61 putting an s2000 motor into a civic is not impossible and there are quit a few out there with the swap.

    Isle of Man(The British version of Nordschilfe)
    Montreal
    Spa Franchanchomps(cant spell it, lol)
    kyalami
    Autopolis
    Sao Paulo(The F1 Circuit, Street Circuit version is optional)
    Targa Florio

    Cars:
    Group C cars man!!(eg Aston AMR1, Jaguar XJR-14 And the Porsche 962(dont forget the paintables!))
    Porsche RS Spyder
    Mercedes CLR(The car that flipped at the le mans in 1999)
    Audi R10(Paintable Version)
    Capparel 2F, J And E
    Toyota TS020(paintable)

    Other Features

    Weather(Include Rain(Light and Heavy(i know if you want rain, play pgr4 but pgr4 sucks now))

    Day to Night transistions(like you see in 24 Le mans and 12 hours sebring)

    An actual Damage system(where sometimes the cars can roll in a 360 during a accident)

    Make it more exciting(because in GRID Theres some excitment between the start and the checkard flag from the ai making simple braking errrors to Causing a Huge accident in which you must dodge the Drivers accident and the other cars in the wreck)

    Try and gain more sponsers(and have a option to make some Billboards if we want)

    The ability to Store some vinyls from the 2nd game and import into forza 3

    Forza needs only real life tracks. In all configurations. To name a few.

    Le mans

    Nurburgring

    Nardo

    Bathurst

    Spa Francochamps

    Sebring

    Silverstone

    Laguna seca

    Monaco

    Suzuka

    Mt Fuji

    Tsukuba

    And a huge oval to test speed. Such as VW's NARDO RING

    A drag strip.

    Weather

    Choice of day or night racing. Pick time of day. And day night transition (2 hour race 5pm sunset 7pm its dark n stars in sky)

    Dynamic weather.

    Point to Point races. Like in forza 1.

    REAL DAMAGE. Loose a wheel. Over heat the engine it catches on fire. Upgrade turbo and not cooling and risk blowing damaging your motor (such as over heating)

    Ability to change colours of Sponsor logos for cars.

    Up to 16 people racing.

    Ability to paint ALL cars custom. That includes R4,3,2 and 1.

    And more realistic R class car performance. I cant get the Rothmans Porsche 956 to do 246mph yet i know Jackie Ickx could at lemans in 1983. Or JGTC/SUPER GT cars hit 305kmh down the front straight of Suzuka.

    And add Group B Rally cars. And Group C GT from the 80s-90s.

    Add Porsche cup racing online. Ferrari Challenge racing.

    FORGOT BRANDS ON TYRE SLICKS.

    And exhaust flames, and the choice to change muffler/exhaust shape and sizes.

    As for body work more adjustable spoilers and wing designs. And please include fender extension, rolled gaurds, wide body kits so we can add even wider rims to the car

    actually a S2K engine swap into a civic isn't impossible at all in fact i've seen things as crazy as RWD Ls1 and 2 swaps into the little cars.... just thought I'd clear that up and I'd actually like more engine swaps to where I can swap practically anything into anything...

    as far as courses and weather please most definitely we need more real to life tracks, weather (possibly adverse handling conditions to go along with the weather?)

    Definitely more cars especially from American manufacturers, Fox bodies, 01 Trans ams and such would be fricken sweet...

    In 2007, TDU was the most game played. people who love cars and love cruising and love challenging rivals, appreciate this creativity in one game.

    Hello Creators of the best damn game alive. An idea has come to my attention and could only dream of it coming to a near future. What if you added a new game mode specifically for free-roam. As TDU as my 2nd favorite game, i thought it would be an awesome idea to create this for those would like to cruise hundreds of miles of road (maybe 1000 mi.) to challenge other players on that same server. But you would have to do career races to upgrade ur car to play that same performance on the free roam mode.

    Cockpit camera view would be awesome now that gt5 has it.

    Being able to choose the time of day for certain lighting and feel of the race would be really creative. Setting that Mood.

    It would be a great, exciting, and very wide experience to include these detailed add-ons into your next project.

    Dear Developers,

                     These fellas here got me thinking of some things that would make Forza 3 the best ever racing simulator. Here are just a few ideas that have been buzzing in my head.

    - Trucks - Nothing would make the game better then to add some diversity, and put some trucks into the game.

    - Rally Tracks - There are a lot of people who like to drift in this game. If you introduce rally tracks, drifting on dirt is very fun and probably a lilttle more competitive than just drifting.

    - Camera Angles - As a person with a steering wheel, nothing would be more cool than to have on board cameras to give the game an even realer feel.

    - Drag Racing - There has not been an official track where someone could actually have a good drag. Most people do their dragging on Nurburgring, but anyway, it would be cool to set up a drag track so that dragging can appeal to people.

     

    Eh - just throwing out some suggestions. I know how hard it is to make these things because I have tried to make video games myself using Game Maker, and that is tough stuff but, if you can squeeze these things in that would make Forza 3 that much more awesome than the rest like Gran Turismo and PGR.

    with the right money any swap is near on possible. as i have seen a turbo AWD crx myself.

    and in japan for years they have been installing nsx-r engines into the rear of honda civic hatches and honda jazz'z/fits.

    what i would also like to see is make engine swapping such a honda s2000 with a toyota 2jzgte or a big block v8 from chev in the game that would be awsome.

    and a leaf taken from need for speed underground (1 or 2 im not sure) is the ability to tune your cars power and torque curve. so you can make the car super responsive across the rev range or make it slow down low with a monstor power rush up top for high speed racing on the ovals.

    I'd really like to see an open wheel class of racing added, maybe like Formula Mazda? It would be great if we had the option in the game to join a class of racing and race an actual season rather than a bunch of tournys

    Other than that, I'd like to see more recent cars, sure, I love certain past models of cars, but it seemed like there were very few cars within the past year or 2. And put in some more BMW's. BMW has many cars outside of the M3 capable of racing.

    Different tyre types, e.g: slicks, hards and wets. This would make interesting pit stategies or race strategies e.t.c.

    Decent graphics, interior view and weather.

    Please no jagged polygon bonnet view this time!

    Simpler, more intuitive online menus and system

    More tracks! Australia's Bathurst track is awesome and should be included.

    Thats about it!

    I dont think you will see a Corvette engine in a CRX. I dont think Honda or any other manufacturer would approve that.

    Newer models would be great.

    New tracks are a must, and not just the "reverse" model

    Let us paint on the C and swap it to the Xbox, dont say it cant be done, Nascar 09 can do it.

    Fix the PI. It is a Sim. No one in RL would drive a 1000HP car on 195/60/15 bias-ply tires.

    Make it so other people in the community can win events. No one cares that the top 20 guys are the same top 20 for a year now. Make it so you can only win 1 event per 30 days or something.

    No more LCE,Unicorns. What a joke. I would rather pay for the cars then sit for hours on end to lose an auction.

    Well a smashing game , it is by far the ONLY PROPER racing game and i dont think it should really be fiddled with much more . It would be nice to see FORZA3 as FORZA2 with just a couple of things brought back from the first FORZA , and just a little extra !

      I liked the idea in FORZA that abusive driving would take its toll , even before the lights went green (if you were careless to over rev ) the engine would recieve damage or even blow . Tire wear, the effect it had when you had used all of your rubber , if you had pushed your tires it felt as if you had blown them and last but not least the continuing drop in performance as the toll in wear and tear of milage and repairs built up on your ride . I find playing FORZA2 with these missing delights has a less of a technical feel when it comes down to compulsory pit stop events , having the three previously mentioned 'tweeks' gave FORZA that extra realistic edge that was needed . It would be great to see these options bought back , it gives a good reason to keep earning money after the single player events have been completed and all the cars you want have been rounded up in your garage .

    As for a little extra , i dont think much is needed here , it would be nice to have the abilty to have ALL tracks reversable and a few extra real tracks , even if it means loosing a few fictional tracks or having to download them. There is no racing without the stars themselves , the cars , where would the cars of today be if it wasnt for the cars of yesterday ........ I dont necissarily want more cars but a better range of them , expecially classics , in honesty European classics , there are plenty of american muscles , give us Euries some homley automobiles , the likes of the mini , a  ford capri would be awesome (a never seen before on any game collection of classics) , Rover 2600se ish , anglia , dolamite , sierra cosworth , metros the possibilities are endless. The last little idea would be that we are able to pick our own fuel content ( i think we were allowed this option in FORZA) , being able to only half or quarter fill your fuel tank would be a great option to fiddle with .

    Everything is far beyond expectation still for FORZA2 all staff deserve a great deal and should be proud , it doesnt look like anyone can touch you or the outstanding quality that you have delivered in the racing genre , i doubt anyone else every will . The paint shop is excellent in FORZA2 as well , please dont change anything in that part of the game , please leave it EXACTLY as it is , it works more than well enough and doesnt need fiddling with x x x

    Forza cannot be compared to other racing titles such as GT or PGR neither of these games are dedicated to the 'realism factor' and are not simulators but mere good looking arcade racers . The only game i would of dared compare to FORZA would of been Toca Touring Car Championship 2 (pc format) . Unfortunatly the TOCA games have seemed to have lost all there 'simism' and flopped to arcade style and joined many other teams in putting donkeys into horse races. Only my opinion but i really do think Turn 10 have nipped it in the bud and are in a league of their own , untouchable . The ONLY real racing simulator production team. 8^)
