RST/Viperlite "Amuse Powerhouse Carbon R" Skyline

I short time ago Viperlite contacted me with regard to creating a  tune for a car he was producing, so we did some research and  developed the tune.

This car is a replica car and as best as I could a replica tune of the real car. (P.I. is calculated as S953)

    Here are the details.

power house amuse CARBON R From OPTION [August, 2006]
Super Lightweight GT-R that Weighs in 900lbs Lighter than Stock.

CARBON R
This story features a super lightweight BNR34 GT-R that had its exterior panels replaced with dry carbon components to make up one feather weight machine. Becoming extremely popular amongst our readers, this piece of work was first introduced in our OPTION publication. This is the Amuse Carbon R.
    57.267 sec at Tsukuba Circuit
"It's unmistaken that the RB26DETT is one of the greatest pieces of machinery ever built. However, the chassis that carries one of Nissan's most coveted creation weighs in at over 3300 pounds; it serves as a great opportunity to shave some weight. By doing so, 120% of the potential of the RB26 can be extracted because of the ultra lightweight GT-R body. This is the dream machine that I have been lusting for a long time." Claims Mr. Tanabe from Amuse, proudly speaking alongside the Carbon R. The coveted Tsukuba 57 second mark was first achieved the 2nd year after the initial shake down pass in 2002. At that time, there were talks of a possible 56 second pass if the given conditions were ideal.
The ultimate weapon for the Carbon R is the lightweight nature of the machine. A plethora of the body panels were sliced off and dry carbon pieces took the place of the white sheet metal. The 4WD components were also removed to make the vehicle into a FR configuration, and even parts of the motor were shaved off to decrease the weight. The final verdict was a 2400 pound. chassis; a GT-R that weighs in far less than an average RX-7!
Numbers never lie, they are considered solid evidence. A stock BNR34 generally weighs in at around 3400 pounds, meaning that more than 900 pounds were taken away from this vehicle.
"We were curious to see how fast this GT-R turned out to be if the engine was moderately tuned but was placed inside an extremely light chassis." States Mr. Tanabe. The engine is not as modified as people perceive it to be. Most enthusiasts are able to reach this level of engine modification.
The RB26DETT still retains its original displacement, but was mated to two GT-RS turbines for a total output of 520 horsepower. Most suspension components were untouched, not to disturb the manufacturer designed suspension geometry.
The finished result of the Carbon R is a wide-bodied vehicle that is covered with full dry carbon fiber. The quality is second to none from a GT spec machine. Yet by peering into the interior, anyone can tell you that the Carbon R is not a race car, but a highly tuned street car.
    DRIVETRAIN
An HKS 6 speed dog gear box for a Z32 was installed along with a Z32 output propeller shaft. An R34 input propeller shaft was used for a custom setup. The mounts remain stock, and a HKS GD Max clutch with ATS carbon LSD were all bolted in.
    INTERIOR
Everything was ripped out to save weight except for the instrument panel. According to Tanabe's perfectionist nature, the interior door panels were replaced with custom dry carbon pieces. Recaro SP-A seats that are based off of a carbon base was installed for the shotgun seat.
    AERODYNAMICS
An upsweep arch was designed at the front end, where it directs the air up and above the wheel arch. This idea was taken from a race vehicle where the downforce is produced by concentrating the air away from the center floor.
    REAR UNDER SECTION
A 20 liter fuel cell was installed inside the trunk space, tossing out the heavy stock gas tank. A flat piece of dry carbon diffuser replaces the empty space where the gas tank used to be. The stock frame was left intact just in case of any collisions.
    FRONT REAR
    SUSPENSION & BRAKE
The suspension system was chosen with the vehicle's lightweight characteristics in mind. The rear rebound attenuation was set on the soft side on the custom Bilstein based suspension. These were also set to provide the maximum traction. Brakes remain stock with Endless CC-R pads. The arms and the bushings are stock BNR34 components.
    SPECIFICATIONS

Now I am sure if you read the text you will be wondering how we have tried to replicate this car.

Well the tune has been produced to give a total BHP figure of 521 bhp.

We have spent a long time trying many options to produce a RWD platform and the only true way to do it with this car is to install the R390 engine but that would take away the RB26 motor which IMO is a privtal part of this car, so instead I have modified the Diff setting to to make the car run as close to RWD as possible.

Viperlite has done an amazing job on the livery of the car with all of the decals being hand produced.

    *****COMPLETED PICS*****

We will be producing a limited initial run of 30 cars over the next week.

Please leave your order below. We will contact you when your car is ready to organise a direct sale. cars are priced at 550,000.
