Today marks the beginning of a new month, and one sure to be very busy and filled with excitement. This week kicks of with a new contest Jalopnik.com is holding which at week’s end will unveil the content inside this month’s Car Pack (Part one of two from our Jalopnik DLC partnership).  As you may remember we teamed up with Jalopnik to create two DLC car packs for Forza Motorsport 3. The second pack (due out later this year) was fan voted DLC which gave fans the chance to vote on which cars would make the cut on an upcoming car pack. The nominees consisted of classic cars, fan favorites along with some very unique and surprising rides. Forza fans and Jalopnik readers voted in a series of exciting polls and narrowed the list down from 120 cars to 15 finalists.  The first pack, due out this month will feature cars chosen by the staff at Jalopnik and the staff here at Turn 10.

The contest, which begins today, will cover the first pack. The rules, a picture will be shown of the mystery car, you then have to figure out what car is in that picture. Guessing the vehicle will not be easy, but for those up to the challenge there will be one spy shot posted today, with three more shown on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until we reach a total of 10 cars. So what kind of cars are in this month’s DLC you ask? Jalopnik’s Sam Smith gives a tiny hint “New ones. Recent ones. Concept ones. Interesting, fast, and angry ones. There may be a race car or two.”  To enter go to Jalopnik.com, look for “Guess The Forzalopnik Car Pack Contest: Car:” and post a comment with your guess. Again, there is one up today and there will be three more added daily until Thursday. Make sure to post your answers on Jalopnik.com so that they count, we also have a thread on our forum for further discussion. Good luck to everyone who participates!

The Second and Third place Winners will each receive a free copy of the upcoming Car DLC.
