Go Forth and Win Stuff: The Nürburgring Grand Prix Circuit Time Trial

Now that the Nurburgring Grand Prix Circuit track pack is officially released on Xbox LIVE, we've also flipped the switch on the latest Time Trial leaderboard in Forza Motorsport 3 -- featuring none other than the Nurburgring GP!

First, a couple things to keep in mind:

1. You'll need to download the track in order to see the Nurburgring GP show up in the normal leaderboard section within the game.

2. You can only enter this Time Trial contest if you've grabbed the DLC (otherwise you'll get a message).

Here are the quick details of the Nurburgring GP Time Trial:

Starts: Immediately. Go!

Ends: 2/16 @ 12PM PST

Car: 2009 Peugeot #9 Peugeot Sport Total 908

How: Navigate to the “Leaderboards” menu and scroll down to “Time Trial”. Scroll down to Nürburgring GP and “Press A to Start Race” at the top of the leaderboard. Set your best possible lap time!

Prizes:

- Everyone who enters the Time Trial will receive a limited edition 2009 BMW M5 with fantasy Nurburgring GP safety car livery (see photo above).

- The top 100 ranks on the leaderboard will receive 300,000 in-game credits.

- The top 10 ranks on the leaderboard will receive 500,000 in-game credits.

Good luck everyone!

Forza,

You have expanded the racing franchise immensly over the past years by exceeding expectations with everything from the amount of cars to the detail that you put into them so us as gamers can enjoy.  I am going to propose two ideas.  Todays gaming world is wide open and is fast expanding, however, the matchmaking style game layout is a little retro.  Ponder the idea of having a free roam almost game mode where players can show off there cars in real life streets of the world.  For instance Detroit, Michigan or London.  Allow us as gamers not to be limited by the barriers of tracks.  The second point is think about adding in the Bonneville Salt Flats, it's 159 square-miles and is perfect for pushing our machines to the limit.  Instead of adding tracks like Nurburging or Sidewinder, add the salt flats and give us some room to drive out machines to the brink.

Thanks Turn 10.

Love the cars and love the track.

The BMW came with front and rear aero upgrades that were not pictured. A pleasant surprise.
