Forzalopnik Round Two Update

The Jalopnik/Forza Motorsport 3 DLC poll from Wednesday has closed and we are finally down to the last set of cars. The Golden Tickets have been issued and the final vote is now open. The choices will be easy for some and gut-wrenching for others.  This is your final chance to have a say in what cars are put into the game.

Here is a rundown of how the Round Two voting went on Wednesday.

Round Two, Group I

The BMW 2002 Turbo carried the momentum from Round One by handily beating all contenders in Group I. The Fiero and DeLorean both had enough of a fan base to put them in the final poll. The Golden Ticket cars of Group I did not gain any traction, all were eliminated from contention.

Here are the winners from Group I:

1. 1973 BMW 2002 Turbo
2. 1971 De Tomaso Pantera
3. 1982 Lancia 037 Stradale
4. 1974 Ford Escort RS1600
5. 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT
6. 1982 DeLorean DMC-12
7. 1999 BMW M5
8. 1960 Aston Martin DB4 Zagato
9. 1998 Aston Martin V8 Vantage V600
10. 1980 Lotus Esprit 2.2

Round Two, Group II

Now Group II was full of surprises. Two GMC trucks made it in to the final poll? Not only did they make it into the final vote but the GMC Syclone took home the overall win in Group II. The GMC Typhone was the first of the Golden Ticket cars to be resurrected from the depths elimination to move into the next round.

Here are the winners from Group II:

1. 1992 GMC Syclone
2. 1977 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
3. 1994 Porsche 928 GTS
4. 1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona
5. 1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16
6. 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge
7. 1993 GMC Typhoon (Commenter Golden Ticket)
8. 1984 BMW M635CSi
9. 1996 Subaru Impreza WRX Type R STi
10. 1981 Volkswagen Scirocco S

Round Two, Group III

The Escort RS Cosworth looked to carry on with another win in Group III but the 1970 Datsun 240Z ruined that plan. The 240Z beat out all contenders for the day by collecting the most votes in all three groups from Wednesday.  Group III also saw two of the Golden Ticket cars make it through to the final stage. We will find out tomorrow if the Nissan 240SX and the Saab 99 Turbo can make the best of their second life.

Here are the winners from Group III:

1. 1970 Datsun 240Z
2. 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth
3. 1990 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST185
4. 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500
5. 1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evo II
6. 1992 Nissan 240SX SE (Commenter Golden Ticket)
7. 1955 Porsche 550A Spyder
8. 1986 Honda CRX Si
9. 1977 Saab 99 Turbo (Commenter Golden Ticket)
10. 2002 BMW Z3 M Coupe

The time has come to make those tough decisions. The final list is ready for you to review, take your time because this is the last chance.

I go for group 3, I'm a big fan of drifting and I want to be able to drift the 1992 Nissan 240sx SE, stock 155hp, and 160 ft-lbs torque. Forza 3 Already has the notchback S13 why not include its' brother the hatchback, If the pack that wins doesn't come with that vehicle, then there is no reason for me to purchase the pack.

They should make more trucks like the Ford Bronco 1989 or something like the Mitsubishi GTO 1992-1995 (Including the 1999-2001 one's too) I mean that would be pretty cool if they do & I also would like the Mazda 787B to come back too
