Steven Spielberg takes on Forza 3's Hydraulic Triple Screen At E3 09!

It's day three of the mighty E3 Expo in Los Angeles, and after our first full day of demo'ing the game to the public, the team is more psyched than ever. It's always exciting (and nerve racking) to show your game code for the first time, especially at an event like E3. With thousands of people wanting a chance to sit down in one of many triple screen set-ups, it was a real test for the stability of our build. Guess what...it's performing like a champ!

Superstar Director Steven Spielberg takes Forza Motorsport 3 for a spin at this years E3 Expo!

Dan, Che and everyone else who made the trip to LA have been sending us a steady stream of pictures and thoughts on our first big day at E3, and our VIP influencer party that gave even more folks a chance to see Forza 3 in all its HD glory. Here's what Che had to say when I talked to him earlier this morning.

"Thanks to everyone for coming out to our community party last night! Although it's been incredibly busy here at E3, this has been an amazing announce for the biggest and most important racing game this generation. Look forward to lots of weekly indepth coverage and new screenshots as we go forward from here. Viva Forza!"

Forza veteran "Six64Four" had a chance to check out the game in action at our VIP event. Find out what he had to say here!

Here's a shot of our Hydraulic Triple Screen pod at the E3 after party event. Thanks to Cheston from My350z.com for the pic!

Turn 10's group program manager Korey K. sent in this picture below late last night to give us a look at how popular Forza 3 is on the show floor. He said "We have constant lines at all three pods, people are ALWAYS waiting for a chance to play." Turn 10 Physics guru Dave G. responded with " Our triple screen pods and hydraulic pods are such a great way to show off the game.  They can't help but be impressed."

Check out the lines for our triple screen set-ups! Forza 3 FTW!

Wait hydraulic pod you say?! Why yes...in preparation for E3 we decided to build a fully custom full motion experience for Forza Motorsport 3. With hydraulic arms linked to the games physics engine, the entire set-up dips and dives when you hit the brakes or accelerate out of a corner. Not having tried it myself I can only assume how awesome it must be. No worries though...we'll have plenty of videos of this beast in action when it makes its return home to Turn 10 studios next week!

Forza 3 is already making a big impact...nominated for 2 E3 awards and counting!

Of course with all this excitement there's a huge supply of handycam videos of the game in action. Here are a few in-case you haven't already checked them out!
